I have taught regular and special education in Prek, Elementary, Middle and High School. This is my 30th year teaching. I graduated from Barton College formerly Atlantic Christian College in 1988 with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education K-4 and from Lynchburg University formerly Lynchburg College with a Master in Special Education in 2000.

I'm a 1991 graduate from Livingstone College home of the "Blue Bears" with a BS/Physical Education and Teacher certification from ECU. I am the mother of 4 beautiful young ladies (Tyree, DeNisa, Capriel and Alisa and 2 grandbabies, Aumi and Elias). I have been in education for about 25+ years and I'm enjoying every bit of it. Presently, I am an assistant girls basketball coach and teaching EC/OCS Math, giving back to those who gave to me!!

This is my 18th year teaching. I am starting my 2nd year teaching EC. Prior, I have taught English and ELA for 16 years.

Ms. Sierra Whaley

I recently graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors of Special Education with a minor in Psychology! This is my first year as an EC teacher. I have a love for reading and going to the beach. I have two pups Nala and Ryder who take up my free time and plan to get many more!
