Hi, I’m Ms. Heather Hamby, and I teach Biology and Chemistry at BHS. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Campbell University in December 2024. This is my first year teaching, and I’m excited to share my passion for science and help students grow! Here’s to a great year!

I graduated from East Carolina University in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science Education (Chemistry Concentration) and Biology. I continued my studies at ECU and earned my Master's Degree in Science Education in 2024. I currently teach AVID II, Life Science, and Biology. My personal goal as a teacher is to create a positive and nurturing learning environment where all students feel supported as they explore the world of science.
